Metayer Bonding of Avon donated a copy of a children’s book about dog rescue to every kindergartner and first grader at Northend Elementary School in New Britain last week. Written by Farmington author Teresa Pelham, “Roxy’s Forever Home” tells the story of a little brown dog’s journey from the streets of Tennessee to her home in Connecticut.
